Present Perfect Tense Definition

Definition:

Present Perfect Tense gives us information about an action or event which has been completed in present time.

فعل حال مکمل

پہچان

اردو کے جن فقروں کے آخر میں چکا ہے-  چکی ہے- چکے ہیں- چکا ہوں- یا ہے- یا ہیں - وغیرہ آئے وہ فعل حال مکمل کے  فقرے کہلاتے ہیں

-میں کھانا کھا چکا ہوں

وہ سکول جا چکا ہے

Present Perfect Tense in English

When we translate, Present Perfect Tense in English,use Helping Verbs, (Has ,Have) after subject and then Verb 3^rd  form  and finally object.

He has gone to school.

Present Perfect Tense Verb Form:

V 3 (3^rd form)

Present Perfect Tense Helping Verb:

Has  /  Have

Use of Has, Have

HAS :   He – She – It - Singular

HAVE :I,We,They,You,Plural Noun

For Negative Sentence

After “Helping Verbs (Has, Have)” put “NOT”

Has not ,Have not

For Interrogative Sentence

We put Helping Verbs (Has or Have), in the beginning of sentence.

Positive Sentence:

Subject + Helping Verb(Has or Have) + Verb (3^rd  form) + Object

Example:

وہ سکول جا چکا ہے

He has gone to school.

Subject +Helping Verb +not + Verb (3^rd form) +Object

Example:

 وہ سکول نہیں جا چکا ہے

He has not gone to school.

Example:

کیا وہ سکول جا چکا ہے
