Definition:

This tense informs about the completion of an action happening or event in the past time.

Past Perfect Tense Rules

Positive Sentence:

Subject +Helping Verb (Had) + V(3^rd form) + object

Negative Sentence:

Subject + had not+ V(3^rd form) + object

Interrogative Sentence:

Had + Subject + V(3^rd form) + object

Interrogative Negative Sentence:

Had + Subject + not + V(3^rd form) + object

WH Interrogative Sentence:

WH+ had + Subject + Verb (3^rd form) + object

فعل ماضی مکمل 

تعریف

وہ فعل ہے جس میں  کسی ایسے کام کا اظہار ہو  جو گزرے ہوئے زمانے میں کسی دوسرے کام کے شروع ہونے سے پہلے ختم ہو گیا  ہو

یا

ایسے کام کو ظاہر کرے جسے ختم ہوئے کافی دیر ہو چکی ہو -

اردو کے جن فقروں کے آخر میں چکا تھا -چکی تھی -چکے تھے- لیا تھا -دیا تھا - لی تھی - دی تھی-  کی تھی-وغیرہ آئیں  وہ فعل ماضی مکمل کے فقرے کہلاتے ہیں–

میں نے موبائل لے لیا تھا - میں موبائل لے چکا تھا-

بچے کھیل چکے تھے-

وہ خط لکھ چکے تھے-

وہ سکول جا چکا تھا-

ہم کرکٹ کھیل چکے تھے- وغیرہ
